I thought the intent (as explained by the posts Raimar linked to) was to
have the server respond to every bad request (including those that are
currently ignored).  The "No reaction from server" message sounds like
it's client-generated when no such request is received.

This message is useful for debugging, but I would disable it for NDEBUG
cases.  In general, I agree that the server should respond to all
requests; in that case you'll see an actually useful message instead (of
course, the client may catch the error and not send a request at all).
