[Freeciv-Dev] Plans for 1.12.0 release

I am going on vacation for 2 weeks tomorrow.

Since we haven't had the beta out for very long, and still haven't 
fixed the character issue, I don't want to release freeciv before I 
leave.

In my opinion, we just need to fix the character bug, apply a patch for 
the city dialog to not cut off text, and let the beta be tested a bit 
more, and it should be ready to release.
The other maintainers are free to make the release while I am gone.
