[Freeciv-Dev] Beta for 1.12.0 release

Hello Developers.

We have just begun the beta-test period which will lead up to version
1.12.0 of Freeciv.  The latest beta version can be found at:

Due to the personal schedules of the maintainers we have not decided on 
a precise release date, but 1.12.0 should be out july 25th at the 
latest.

Mainly bugfixes will be commited during the beta. New features should 
not be added.
Translators can use the beta period to update their translations for 
the final release. The developers should try not to change the 
translateable strings.
