Well, this patch isn't mine: i have only updated to the last cvs a patch 
proposed by Davide Pagnin <nigthmare@xxxxxxxxxx>.

His original message with both the bug report and the patch is:

So, IMO, he should be mentioned in the PEOPLE file.
