You mean the Hanseatic League.  (In Norwegian the Hoover dam is
Altavassdraget...)

There was never any such thing as the AS Trading Company; this was
merely the civ2 designers' way of tying the name of a famous economist
to some sort of physical structure, much like Isaac Newton's College,
which is just plain stupid.  I never did like these names very much.
