This has been tested on various PCs running Windows95 or Windows95 OSR2.

Todd Goodman's X-based installation for Windows of Freeciv v. 1.11.4 is
infinitely slow in every operation, expecially while logging the client onto the
server.
On my AMD K6 350 MHz PC is so slow that is unusable. My only PC I can use it
with is a PIII 500 MHz laptop,but it's still slow.

I tried X-Win32 versions 4 and 5, X Win Pro, Hummingbird Exceed and Reflection
X, and there is no difference in speed.


Previous version of Freeciv for Windows with X worked fine and fast.
