Hi,

there seems to be a versioning problem with the po files. If
someone wants to use updated translation with his 1.11.4 version
of Freeciv, and he load the newest po file from the web site,
this works in general, but: all strings that have been changed
in the CVS version, aren't translated anymore. So you get some new
translations by updating, and lose some others.

At least this apply if the translators work with the CVS verion,
what they should do anyway.

Maybe you could address this problem by leaving the strings of the
last (1.11.4) version in the freeciv.pot file rather than remove
them when strings become obsolete in CVS version. You could mark
them as "1.11.4" e.g. for the translators. The translator may decide
not to translate them if the aren't, but at least you won't lose
existing translations.

Best wishes,

Chris
