The workers themselves are not shown, but you can control workers'
placement from the map (added in 1.9.0 or 1.10.0 I believe) and
watch the yield of individual tiles (added in 1.11.0).

Is there anyone in charge of updating the Freeciv online manual
to a more recent version?
