[Freeciv-Dev] Help with Readline

I used Suse 6.4. I had configure/make/install readline-4.1 downloaded from
one of the GNU mirrors. The parameter I used is
 <./configure --prefix=/usr>. Then I
<./configure --prefix=/usr --with-readline --enable-debug=no> Freeciv-11.4.
The configure script say error with readline, something about readline
callback function not working (I forgot to copy the error for more detail).
I check that readline lib????.so.4 is in /lib and a slink in /usr/lib and a
static lib in /usr/lib. What could be wrong? I really like readline.
