[Freeciv-Dev] Fwd: Running french server

Hi,

I've got problems to get a server running in french.

My LANG is correctly set to fr, but when I run the server, it is still in
english. And in the client (running elsewhere), we get half of the messages in
english.

It is a server installed in a user account, so with a configure
--prefix=/home/... .

I checked the config.h, it contains the lines:
#define LOCALEDIR "/cal/users/incub/fremy/freeciv/lib/locale"
#define 
DEFAULT_DATA_PATH".:data:~/.freeciv:/cal/users/incub/fremy/freeciv/share/freeciv"

and the directory /cal/users/incub/fremy/freeciv/lib/locale/fr/LC_MESSAGES
does contain a freeciv.mo which looks ok.

So what do I miss ?

I can't test the client on this account, but I'm pretty sure it is also in
english. I don't have this problem when I run the server in a place where I
installed it as root.
