In .pl Genetiv is needed for this text. It is impossible to solve
every such problem with gettext. I suggest some fields like :

"to Germans"
"from Germans"
"with Germans"

translatable w/o "?foo:"s.
(they may be even some automatizations, so nobody have to write it in
English as they are always the same. They will be generated by some external
tool during .po-making etc.)
