It would certainly work out, but I think it would sort of break the charm
of playing the game a bit.

For instance, at the apollo project, there is some lines like this:

All cities on the map become visible for the player who owns it.  It
allows all players to start building spaceship parts (assuming they
have researched the necessary technologies).  

Wouldn't it be better with first some facts about the thing, and then
the technical details ...

Apollo blah blah blah moon blah blah Neil Armstrong blah blah postwar
blah race blah blah three more lines with blah blah blah and eventually a
web-link for more info
