I guess once Qt-2.0 is released then the issue of a Qt freeciv 
port can be revisited.  Hopefully without any legal hassles.

The QPL docs mention "Open Source" a lot, but I didn't notice 
any explicit reference to GPL-compatability, which is what is 
of interest for a freeciv port.  (Though I only glanced through 
the QPL pages.  Or maybe they feel twice shy after previously
contentiously claiming that FreeQt was compatible with GPL apps.)  
Presumably QPL is intended to be GPL-compatible, to help KDE.
