Ben,
It seems like what you need to do is to load the client with the ancients
tileset. Assuming your freeciv is installed in c:\freeciv, you should have a
file named "c:\freeciv\data\ancients.tilespec". If this does not exist, or
is in the wrong place, you did not unzip the ancients package using folder
names.
Once you are sure that the file exists, run the client in the MS-DOS prompt
using the command:
c:\freeciv\civclient --tiles=ancients
Again, substitute the appropriate path to your files. Hope this helps you
get going.
