spelling = Rzeczpospolita
Name is mere translation of latin Respublica.

In 16th century is worked very well, and one person never really blocked
parliament's decisions, but minorities often did.

That's why there was a lot of religious tolerance in Poland, while the rest of
Europe, with decisions made by either king or majority, who allways decided
for one or another religion, was fighting bloody holy wars against each other.
