I have had various people ask me about players for media formats on=20
windows, and mencoder on windows. I just got this today, so those of you=20
stuck on windows can enjoy.

Those on linux: you should already have mplayer, especially on your Zauru=
s=20
if you have one. :)

Hi,
I just uploaded the 1.0pre3 mingw binarys to
http://www.mplayerhq.hu/MPlayer/releases/win32-beta/

Features:
- static compiled exe with runtime-cpudetection
- compiled with libavcodec, faad, ogg, xvid and matroska support
- support for quicktime,real,dshow,vfw and acm binary codecs
- freetype font support (you will have to alter mplayer/config to reflect
your windows font dir)

Changelog:
- fixed timer bug that might cause high cpuload on some systems
- added runtime ontop functionality to vo directx (-vo directx:ontop is
obsolete now)
- SSE support
- mencoder is now included in the main package
- xvid 1.0 beta2 encoding support
