What are you using for the access point?
Is the server on the wired LAN set to allow the connections from your
wireless? (does it allow any MAC address or only the specified
addresses)
Does the LAN you are having trouble with require authentication before
allowing a wireless client to connect to the LAN?

Is eth0 set to use DHCP? or does it have a fixed IP?
