It ain't gonna happen.

There is no Linux port for the 6502, and there never will be.  Linux runs on
a 32-bit CPU.  There is a (partial) 16-bit port (Linux-8086 aka ELKS).  The
6502 is an 8-bit CPU.  Linux will never run on it.

There is a terribly limited (aka useless) "Unix" port for the C-64 called
Lunix (Little UNIX).  It claims to support multitasking... I ran it once. 
It was pretty worthless, but perhaps a fun toy.
