My monitor, a Sony Trinitron Multiscan 500 PS, has decided to start
going blurry (I have another monitor attached to another machine right
beside me so I know its not me going blurry )

Its not a constant blurry, it goes from blurry to really sharp, but it
seems to stay blurry a lot longer.

My co-worker, told me that changing the refresh rate might help, but I'm
not sure how.

I tried Xconfigurator (yes they make me use redhat), and It autodetected
the monitor and the video card, but it was worse, with actual visual
lines from the refresh on the screen.

I've looked at the XF86_CONFIG , and I have no idea what I can do to
change things.

Is there hope? Or will I have to go to choose between a 17" monitor
or an aneurism?
