  One radio interview on NPR gave a possible reason for these=20
"high price" sightings...

  "A small/independent gas station may want to discourage people
from lining up and draining them dry....  they have regular customers
that they want to have gas for this week, and those stations will take=20
the preemptive move of raising prices to a ridiculous amount to keep
the gas they have during the 'panic'."
