I have a 33Mhz SPARCclassic.
I benchmarked it against a Cyrix 486DX2/80...
On floating point math, it was about twice as fast as the Cyrix 486. On
Integer math, it was about 50% slower, I believe.
A kernel compile (2.2.1 or so) took 3 hours 1 minute. That was on a 540mb
SCSI hard drive with 48mb 60ns RAM in the SPARC.
