[aclug-L] cd rw adding rw format to kernel

I upgraded my linux to redhat 6.2 and it never did set up to read the dvd/cdrw
formats which are ufs or something like that I get file type not supported by
kernel. How do I get Linux to read the cdrw disk. It will read iso9660 but
not rw format.
