If your 4G were primary, the /etc/fstab(Debain) should
be change from /dev/hda to /dev/hdb, and run Lilo on
that. The Lilo should be place on the MBR, you can
make sure you need to modify on the /etc/lilo.conf
put
boot=/dev/hda1 (Assume you place that on the MBR).
