Well, it would be possible to set the SMTP address in the Eudora
client to point to your ISP's SMTP server. You would then be able to
send email to anyone on the Internet. I presume, however, that you
don't want to do this because then intra-office mail would go out over
your Internet connection and then come back.

It is possible to setup sendmail so it will send outgoing message
out to the world. Your ISP may or may not have some regulations and
restrictions in place to prevent you from doing this. It is often
considered a bad thing to let dial-up customers send mail out without
relaying it through their ISP's server. This is becuase it is a
technique used by many spammers that get a bunch of throwaway accounts
at ISP's and use the connections to spam the world. If you decide to
do this, however, you have to be careful that you configure sendmail
correctly so that things work right. Do you have your own domain? That
would make a difference.

I would imagine that you could get sendmail to relay messages to your
ISP's server, but I've never tried that and I'm not sure how to do it.
