So far no luck
1st instal:  debian vs user
        debian installs refuses to speak to video card, text mode only

2nd install red hat 6.1 vs user
         no fonts at all upon install text mode only

3rd install red hat 6.1 devistates user!!
        no fonts in x windows, no mouse at all, defaul inittab level 6!
        check and mate!
