I disagree... the first plan put together at Boeing Wichita for
line-of-business web applications involves almost exclusively NT and IIS
and Microsoft tools.

Apache on Unix might be *better* overall, but better doesn't always
sell.  Boeing hates free software... we'll spend thousands of dollars on
something we could have had for free, if for no reason than politics and
good-will.  We like to keep HP, SUN, and IBM happy, so we buy their
software when we could use open source and possibly better software for
free.  Sad, but true.
