Thanks for all the help on the AIX.
Ok, i've got a Solaris question this time.
i have an application that i'm trying to run remotely on the AIX and display
on a Solaris.
when i start it up it runs and display on the sun machine but the display
seems saturated.
everything is blacked out and hard to read.

now for the questions
how do i check the color depth on a sun machine(ultra creator 3D)
can i as a non root change it.
