Random pauses in loading web pages isn't too unusual -- that symptom
may not be something you can fix.  The pause after clicking a link
might be your DNS server being slow.  Try a couple command-line
nslookup's (nslookup www.yahoo.com) and see how it responds. You can
get a better idea of how your net connection is doing by starting a
ping when you dial up (ping your gateway) and then fire off netscape;
when you notice netscape slowing down, check the ping window. If
you're dropping packets or they're taking a long time to come back,
your ppp connection sucks.  If the ping is fine, we can narrow it down
towards netscape.
