[aclug-L] netscape help

Hello,

I was wondering if anyone has had a problem with 
netscape being slow just after you click on a link. It 
seems to wait 6-8 seconds be for doing anything. In 
fact on it connects it runs fairly fast. Also would 
this possibly have any thing to do with kppp. i set my 
mtu and mru to 500 and that seemed to help. I am 
running caldera 2.2 and it also with get halfway thru 
pulling up a web page and then will sometime stop an 
wait 10 seconds before i will just stop an sit for 10 
seconds before it continues to load a page. this is a 
pent 75 machine i know it is not fast but should it be 
this slow? it has 48 megs of ram. i would be very 
thankful for any help or ideas on this problem. Thanks
