Just my guess, but with only 640k of RAM it sounds like a 286 model.
IIRC the most popular PS/2 models with a 386 were in the 80s and
70s.  I think any model # less than 70 is a 286.  Although there
has been mention of a version of Linux for < 286 processors, I've
not heard of a usable version released.  Also, if you wish to use
Linux on a PS/2 then you need to be sure your kernel has MCA support.
Don't the 2.2.x kernels include this now?
