this is the autoexec.bat file that i boot with
the notes.outline are in the rem's
btw i use DR DOS.

rem create a directory on your c: drive called linuc(or what ever)
rem put the linux cd into the cdrom
rem change to the cdrom drive d:, e:, or what ever it is called.
rem go to a direcotry called \dosutils\ or \dosutils\autoboot
rem copy the files vmlinuz (the kernel) and initrd.img (the
rem installation scripts (sort of)) to the new directory (linuc).
rem dosutils may be located inside of another directory possibly
rem \redhat\dosutils or something like that.
rem then reboot your system with this disk.

rem rock and roll!

loadlin c:\linuc\vmlinuz initrd=c:\linuc\initrd.img

i put the autoexec.bat on a floppy

hope that helps
