[aclug-L] bad cookie

i just move up my last rh5.2 to mdk 6.0
but i'm having a new problem.
when i become su X applications crash
here are two examples:

[phrostie@kansas phrostie]$ su
Password:
[root@kansas phrostie]# xv
Xlib: connection to ":0.0" refused by server
Xlib: Invalid MIT-MAGIC-COOKIE-1 key
xv: Can't open display
[root@kansas phrostie]# xbill
Xlib: connection to ":0.0" refused by server
Xlib: Invalid MIT-MAGIC-COOKIE-1 key
Error: Can't open display: :0.0
[root@kansas phrostie]#
