I like that idea.  I think it would make sense to do that AFTER the
presentation on X, and possibly sometime touch on sound configuration.
Quake isn't any fun without sound.  :-)

Maybe after the presentation on X on Nov 8, we could do a presentation on
sound card configuration and other sound utilities (sox, xmms, timidity,
etc).

Then have a meeting on games in Linux.

THEN... have a LAN party.

Somethin like:

Nov 8 -- X Windows
Nov 22 -- Sound
Dec 6 -- Games
Dec 11 -- LAN party

(Hopefully Half-Life will be available for Linux by then. :-)
