The question would be:  Can Linux handle an 18gb IDE hard drive?  RedHat
has nothing to do with hardware support.  That's Linux's job--RedHat
handles "cool" things like menus and installation scripts.

And the answer is yes, Linux should work with an 18gb IDE hard drive.  A
more important question might be wether your BIOS supports an 18gb IDE
hard drive--if you plan to use the drive exclusively with Linux, it
should be fine, though.
