I need a CPU to monitor and save it to disk. I am wondering if any thing
of Linux would fit on a 40 meg HD? The system I am thinking of consists of
a ms dos 5.0 with a vc++ program to read clicks off of a wired mouse (crude
but it is all I need) I have a reed switch wired across the left and
another across the right mouse button, and I just need to record the times
the switches are activated. The system with either be a pc386 or a
pc486-25--el-cheapo. But, I will only put a 40 meg unit in it. Can Linux
or a relative of it do the job.???

mike
