One item I'd like to see *demonstrated* is applying a patch.  Perhaps
creating a patch could be demonstrated, too.

Once I get my distribution up-to-date, and installed on more than one
computer, I hope to keep one system more on the almost-bleeding-edge, and
this would be helpful knowledge.
