I just installed debian 2.1, and need it to accept printing requests from 
other machines.          

I edited lpd.perms,  to say 
DEFAULT ACCEPT
and uncommented every REJECT, but the other machines says waiting for
queue to come up. 

I can print from the local machine.

The printer I'm am using is actually a remote printserver, but since
solaris makes you have the name of the remote printer have to be same as
the local version i nthe printcap, we want the unix box to handle it
