I am not sure what I did in trying to attain sound, but now upon booting, I am
getting a lot of info about things that don't sound good.
When trying to do a make install for the alsa-driver, I ran across an error
about a conf and 79. Now on boot, it shows through like a sore thumb. Here is
a bit of what shows up:
Loading modules: linear conf:79: missing argument
cdrom conf:79: missing argument
nfs conf:79: missing argument
vfat conf:79: missing argument
ip_alias conf:79: missing argument
ip_masq_ftp conf:79: missing argument
That is the beginning of it and it proceeds telling me that pretty much any
module is in that situation.
What did I delete? How to I return things back to normal?
tia,
Seth
ps. did a dpkg --purge on linuxlogo, and still have it on boot (the old one)
and it is not in /etc/init.d anywhere
