I have an old mother board, 1996. 486-80. I bought a 6.4g western
digital. I never did anything to erase the drive from windows, It thought
the drive belonged to it. When I got home, I could not get win95 to boot,
so installed the emergency disk. It came up detecting new devices, 2.1 g
fixed drive, and proceeded to format it for me, never asked if I wanted to.
Plus after that win 95 never booted either, it would only run in safe
mode. At the install, we never could get the modem configured.
