I know that all the computer of the Computer Science Departament are
Linux/Unix computers. However, the computer that are accesible for the
normal people are not. All are Windows machine.

Sometimes I can't access to the Linux machines in the lab because all
are busy. Instead I have to go to the Windows Machines over the first
floor and use the bad telnet progrma they have. That's without
mentioning that Those computer lock up all the time. The screen goes
black just like that. I wonder why (Win98).

I wonder too why most of the normal people don't know anything about
linux. Because unluckily Bill has dominated the market. We know that
most of the computer over WSU are Windows machine (Library, and Labs)
People study Windows, Office and Microsoft programs and live without
knowing that there are better programs. Programs that won't die,
programs like linux.

My idea is why if Linux is free the University don't have more computers
with Linux on them so that people can start getting used to Linux and
start learning more about. I don't asking for all the computer but at
least at couple to start with and then see how it works. Somethig like a
test.

I hope that in a future not too long. All machines are going be Linux
machine and I will forget what Mirco... means!

Isaias
