that doesn't seem to do anything on my system...  i'm running RedHat w/ GNOME
and WM...  also, doesn't that just change the refresh rate?  that's what i
*thought* it did when i tried out Caldera's OpenLinux...  to change the
actual res, i thought you had to go in and edit the XF86Config file...  i may
be wrong, but that's what my impression was...  i couldn't get quite the
right res when trying that in OpenLinux...  i went into my XF86Config and
changed the default res to what i wanted, but it gave me an error (can't
remember it offhand...think it was something about no entry for that...  but
i know there is an entry for that res.......)

anyway, any ideas?
