Well, after finally getting a internet connection to SW
working I've messed it up. Since networking the house, when
I run pppd I get connected, get a warning about routes, and
IP's are assigned. Then it doesn't want to do anything. I 
don't think that the machine is seeing the ppp interface.

Here's the log with the warning:

So since I suspect a routing prob, here's the routing table:

The linux box uses 10.0.0.5 for its network IP and 127.0.0.1 for lo. I don't 
really know what I'm looking at here, but sould lo have two entries? 

I guess what I really need to know is where can I find the documentation that
would cover this situation or what, if you can tell, am I doing wrong?

Just in case it will help diagnose the prob, here's what I get from ifconfig
while connected to SW.
