When I Installed Debian, I decided, what the hell lets install a bunch of
stuff.
Well, As I don't need most of it boot time, I'm thinking about removing
them from run levels ,adn starting them, if and wehn I need them.
I just read the November LJ article on init, and it answered a lot of
questions I had and wished we had went over in a meeting (yes its
distribution specific, so Its not a good meeting topic)
Anyway, my question is what is the best way to remove things from run
levels? Rename it to ~K##..., rm the link (which I dont want to do in case
I want it afterall) . Wil apt help do something like this?
Thanx
Clint
