Hello,
I got diald working on my redhat 5.1 box. I am now trying to control its
behaviour through dctrl-the diald graphical control utility. The problem
is when i invoke dctrl from a xterm window i get a nonresponsive dctrl
window..looking at the logs showed me the following:
Oct 8 00:30:02 enterprise diald[1716]: FIFO: full monitor connection to
monitor /tmp/dctrl.2336 requested
Oct 8 00:30:02 enterprise diald[1716]: FIFO: could not open pipe
/tmp/dctrl.2336: Device not configured
I have the following line in diald.conf file:
fifo /var/run/diald.ctl
and changed the tcl script in /usr/bin/dctrl
# User tunable parameters
set default_FIFO "/var/run/diald.ctl"
So what am i doing wrong here? Any ideas / help / info would be greatly
appreciated.
Thanks.
Best,
sohel
