Hi,

I'm trying to run Debian Linux 2.0 on an X-86. I've almost got through the
installation procedure except the X-Window display. My monitor sync. rates
are 30 to 54KHz horizontal scanning and 50 to 120 Hz vertical scanning.
I'm using a Trident TVGI 9680 graphics adapter. My monitor supports
640x350, 640x400, 640x480, 800x600, 1024x768 and 1280x1024 resolutions.
I've tried all possible combinations of sync. rates and resolutions. But,
whenever I want to start an X-session(using startx) I get the following
message
