Anyone else having trouble running offlineimap on Snow Leopard (Mac OS 10.6)?

I'm getting a Trace/BPT trap error.

I did find a reference to the issue here

on another site. But I'm clueless as to understand the actual issue.

Any clues would be appreciated.
