You won't lose mail.  But you'll get duplicate mail.  It will remove
OfflineIMAP's sense of what messages match, so everything locally will
be copied to the remote, and vice-versa.

If you can remove both .offlineimap AND your local mail folders, that
may achieve what you want.

(I'd suggest *renaming* them before you actually remove them though,
Just In Case)
