[linux-help] Install day/laptop install

Hello,
First of all, thanks to those who have offered help.
Tom suggested RedHat 7.3 rather than 7.2. The reason I chose 7.2
was because later I need to install Oracle and was told that 7.2 is the
most current version certified. However, after some additional research,
it appears 7.3 might be OK. Is 7.3 superior? If so, I can get it.
James and Jonathan--I can go to the install or just meet with
someone, either way is fine. I was happy to hear about the possible
install meeting this Saturday, because by pure coincidence my laptop was
supposed to arrive Friday.
If the install meeting is not postponed, I will plan on attending,
with my computer, CDs and any documentation I have. One possible problem:
delivery of my laptop appears to be delayed (even though I paid extra for
next day delivery, on-line tracking says it hasn't even been shipped yet).
Even if I can call and straighten it out, I might not get it until
Saturday afternoon or even Monday.
If the meeting is postponed, I can meet with you, James, anytime
on Saturday or most any evening.
Thanks.
-Aaron
