I support stripping of attachments anyway.  Even if it's not for viruses...
I cannot think of any time when I would want to receive an attachment sent
to a public list.  If someone needs to send me an attachment, they can send
it to me directly.  If someone has a file of general public interest, they
can include a URL.

I'd rather not use my bandwidth and mail spool for the downloading of
irrelevant attachments. :)

So my vote is to strip attachments.
