thanks, if you are referring to some security issues with windows, I have a
good firewall installed, not much could get through it very easily, I also
don't have much personal info on it that I should be worried about. its all
backed up too.

proftpd is probably part of your Linux distribution. Just install it. If
not, do a search for proftpd on the 'net.
Running an FTP server on Windows is a REALLY BAD IDEA (tm), unless it's only
for private use.
